Qaiser Rehman, MD

Dr. Rehman graduated from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan in 1993 with honors. During his medical school training, he rotated through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and was inspired to return to The Texas Medical Center. He completed a three year residency training program in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. After his board certification in Internal Medicine in 1998, he decided to join University of California at San Francisco for two years training in Rheumatology and stayed another year as clinical investigator/ researcher. During his stay at San Francisco, he conducted clinical trials regarding new therapies to treat postmenopausal and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis. He made several publications regarding the science and treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis. He also presented his work at international meetings and wrote for the Textbook of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

 

Dr. Rehman is board certified in the sub-specialty of Rheumatology. He is very excited to return to Houston and to be able to work with other colleagues in medicine to better serve the northwest Houston community. Dr. Rehman treats patients with musculoskeletal diseases including all forms of Arthritis and Rheumatism, Autoimmune diseases, Inflammatory Vasculitis and Metabolic Bone Diseases.
